Rupture and Reconstruction

In class I mentioned an article by Haim Soloveitchik, “Rupture and Reconstruction.” It’s linked here. Soloveitchik considers the flattening of local tradition as a result of a more globalized Judaism, and the function of modernity and modern communication in this flatting.
